Aakash Dhruv

Aakash Dhruv is a final semester graduate student looking for full-time opportunities. He has a diverse professional experience working in three different industries (Manufacturing, IT and Research) across five different companies, with MNCs such as Tesla, GKN Automotive, Siemens and Capgemini. Dhruv’s primary interests lies in working with data in a manufacturing/production setting while working with various ERPs. He has applied his eclectic skillset in the industry to optimize production and related processes through implementing innovative ideas.

Internship Details

At the Tesla facility in Austin, Tx, Aakash Dhruv worked with the Production Control Team to implement over 500 changes and trial for newly introduced parts in Model Y and Cybertruck. In this role, he worked closely with the New Product Introduction Team and honed his skillset in SQL, dashboarding, Excel, ERP systems and process improvement/implementation. At GKN Automotive in Mebane, NC, he worked as an industrial engineer to improve throughput of a newly installed turning cell, conducting various time studies and worker content studies. Dhruv also worked on the short life tooling project, conducting data analysis and uncovering potentially $100K worth of cost reduction opportunities.
