Akshatha Cheppudira is a detail-oriented and results-driven professional with experience across diverse industries, including electronics, IT and automotive, where she has worked in roles spanning data analytics, supply chain and project management. Her deep passion for supply chain and interest in leveraging data-driven insights to optimize processes and enhance the customer experience led her to pursue a master’s degree in Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering, with a specialization in supply chain. Cheppudira aims to combine her knowledge of supply chain and analytics with strong business acumen to support global strategies and drive tangible business value. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated strong collaboration, leadership and a commitment to delivering excellence in every aspect of her work. Internship Details

Cheppudira has interned at three companies, with Cummins Inc. being the most recent, where she completed both a summer internship and a fall co-op. She was part of the logistics team, where she planned and executed the movement of reusable containers across the North America supply chain. Her role involved working extensively with data, utilizing tools such as Power BI, Minitab and Excel to optimize processes. Cheppudira also collaborated cross-functionally with teams in planning, procurement, and data quality, gaining hands-on experience with ERP systems, sales and operations planning, cost analysis and more. This experience gave her a well-rounded understanding of various aspects of supply chain management and has strengthened her confidence in applying this to future roles.
