Sahil Phale

Sahil Phale did his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, which reflected a deep commitment in him to mastering the intricacies of modern manufacturing and supply chain systems, and he decided to pursue his Master of Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering at North Carolina State University. His coursework encompasses a comprehensive understanding of supply chain dynamics, inventory and logistics management, and advanced analytics. Phale’s academic endeavors are intricately aligned to pursue his goal of becoming a supply chain manager. his curriculum in Integrated Manufacturing System Engineering leverages insights to navigate the complex landscape of the supply chain industry with proficiency. It has also equipped him with the necessary technical acumen and strategic vision necessary for optimizing supply chain operations, fostering innovation and driving organizational success. Phale is currently working as a supply chain co-op at Robert Bosch LLC in Anderson, South Carolina, where he provides strategic and analytical solutions to significantly develop and improve operational efficiency.

Internship Details

Phale’s daily task involves providing support to reduce production support lead times by monitoring and analyzing commercial logistics operations. Developing KPI metrics, utilizing the data analytics tools for forecasting and working with my cross-functional team in order to ensure a streamline demand planning process have resulted in reducing labor costs and enhancing customer satisfaction across five distribution centers. Recently, he led a team of interns to develop a Power BI dashboard that resulted in a substantial 55 percent reduction in supplier and vendor issues, translating to huge cost savings for the company.
