Financial Aid FAQ
- All applicants are automatically considered for financial support through fellowships, teaching assistantships, and research assistantships. No additional application is required. For more details, visit the Graduate School Financial Support page.
- You may receive funding through departmental teaching or research assistantships. However, most departmental research assistantships are awarded to Ph.D. students. Assistantship amounts vary and can include a small monthly stipend or a stipend with fee and tuition coverage, depending on the funding source. Teaching assistantships provide a monthly salary, health insurance and tuition coverage. You can find tuition and fee amounts on the Cashier’s Office website.
- Additionally, explore aid options like scholarships, grants, loans and campus employment through the Scholarships and Financial Aid Office website.
- The college typically sends out offers of aid between late February and mid-April.
